I went to crufts yesterday.

I was competing in the junior jumping.

AND I WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i won my class, i was so pleased, the competioin there was at a higher standard than i usually was.

feel a bit sorry for andy as he didnt do as well as usuall so everyone was really happy to have beaten him which must be rather hard on him - he is only my age. but what the hell I BEAT ANDY!!! and i had a sheltie that i trained my self and not a collie like he had.

Amy was there *bergh* she was on the sheltie team :( dont know how she did that even my trainner has got fed up with her. so thats my knew challenge to eb on the shetland sheep dog team next year, i kwo the other team memebers and being of the same team as chi would eb amazing (he is one of the best agility shelties ever)

but anyho so happy

Hollys such a good little girl she did me proud. She was so happy after we got out the ring - grinning like a loon she got feed so much sasuages and cheese!!!!

still dont think that handling and 'proper showing' are all they are carcked up to be - you do have to train but not that hard with no talent or work involved - you either have it or you dont.

agility and allt eh other proper competitions (heelwork and obedience and flyball) are much better you are judged on what your dog has worked to do not on what it was born like, it doesnt matter who your dogs parents where and it doesnt matter who you are, who you know or what you look like it is judged on talent and skill and is not effected by the judges personal opinion. the real sports are for owner and dog where as showing is very rarely done by the actuall owner. the dogs are always put first and it would eb horrible for anything to happen to them but yet breeding likes hurting dogs they breed germansheperds with sloppy backs ON PURPOSE cos it looks good whiel knowing that by the time to dogg is 8 it will not be able to walk and will have to be put down.
also we never get rid of our dogs cos they are too small or the wrong colour people who breed do that, they keep the dog untill it is two have a littler out of it then get rid of it cos it isnt pretty enougth - horrible - it wrecks the dog, the dog cant understand why its pack, the people it loves and trusts have abandoned it. just horrible. the only agility people i ahve heared do something like this is the crazy mazie lot and they are worse they keep the dog till it 8 then break its heart but lots of people hate them and no-one else i knwo does it. (or supposedly does it)

rant over

i will psot some pictures up later of my beautiful girl and our rosette.

also thnaks to my best mate laura who went theer with me and made the day so much fun, we wnet shopping and she filmed me and carried most fo the bags bless - she was so helpful. Its almsot a tradition taking her to crufts now.

my aunt, uncle and cousin are coming round tonight so that my aunt can look afer the dogs tomorrow and we can take james and pete to crufts with us when we go to see my mum compete.

so excited she will eb in the main ring doing knock out.

i will also be meeting upw ith hollys breeder and niki who goes to my dog trainning and is lovely.

xx KT xx
